Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) constitute an electronic record under applicable laws (such as the Information Technology Act) and do not require a physical or digital signature. By accessing or using the Taj Money platform (website and/or mobile application) or availing our services, you (“you”, “your”, “Customer”) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of our services.

1. Definitions & Interpretation

In these Terms, unless the context otherwise requires:

  1. “Platform” means the Taj Money website and/or mobile app and any other interface or channel through which we provide the services.
  2. “Services” means whatever investment, accumulation, purchase, sale, redemption, transfer or other facility offered by Taj Money (or in collaboration with our partners) from time to time.
  3. “Account” means the account you hold on the Platform identifying you as a user/customer.
  4. “You/your” refers to the individual customer accessing or using the Platform.
  5. “We/us/our” refers to Taj Money (including its affiliates, service providers, agents).
  6. Other terms will be interpreted consistent with their usual meaning and with regard to the context in which they appear.

2. Eligibility

By registering, using the Platform or the Services, you represent and warrant that:

  1. You are at least 18 years of age and legally competent to enter into binding contracts under Indian law.
  2. You are not registered as a GST-dealer (unless otherwise specified) and will notify us immediately if your status changes.
  3. The information and documents that you provide for registration/KYC are true, complete, accurate and updated.
  4. You have full authority to use the payment instrument and bank account(s) used to fund transactions on the Platform.
  5. You will abide by all applicable laws (including tax laws) in relation to your use of the Platform and Services.

If you are using this Platform on behalf of a minor or someone else (e.g., guardian), you confirm that you have the requisite authority to do so and the minor/beneficiary will be bound by these Terms.

3. Account Registration & KYC

  1. You must register for an Account on the Platform by providing the required personal details, contact information, bank account, PAN and other documents/forms as required for Know Your Customer (KYC) and regulatory compliance.
  2. You undertake to promptly notify us of any change to your information (name, address, mobile number, email, bank account, etc.).
  3. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your Account (and/or Services) if we believe your information is untrue, inaccurate, incomplete or if you fail to comply with any KYC requirement.
  4. You indemnify Taj Money from all losses, claims, liabilities, costs etc. arising from your failure to provide valid, accurate or updated documents/information or from misuse of your Account.

4. Services & Transactions

  1. Depending on your eligibility and our offerings, you may be able to purchase/accumulate/transfer/redeem/sell financial/investment products or other services listed on the Platform.
  2. All transactions are subject to these Terms, our policies (including Payment Policy, Cancellation/Refund Policy, etc.) and any specific terms applicable to particular products.
  3. You acknowledge that some Services may be offered in collaboration with partners (e.g., bullion providers, vaulting/custodian agencies, trustees) and are subject to their respective terms in addition to ours.
  4. Prices, availability, delivery options, redemption conditions and other Service-specific features may vary and we reserve the right to modify or discontinue any Service in our sole discretion, without prior notice.

5. Pricing, Payment & Taxes

  1. The price for any product or service on the Platform is as displayed at the time you place the order and is dependent on market factors and partner arrangements.
  2. Payment must be made through the payment method(s) specified on the Platform (for example, UPI, net banking, debit/credit cards, bank transfer). We shall not be responsible for any payment failures caused by banks, payment gateways or any third party.
  3. You are responsible for payment of all applicable taxes, duties, levies imposed by governmental or regulatory authorities (currently including GST) on your transactions.
  4. Once payment is processed (and subject to any applicable processing or verification), your transaction will be confirmed and you will not be entitled to cancel except as specifically provided in these Terms or in the applicable Service terms.

6. Delivery, Storage & Redemption (if applicable)

Where the Service involves delivery of a physical product or storage of an asset (such as gold, silver or other investment):

  1. The asset or product may be stored in vault(s) or with custodian(s) on your behalf, subject to the terms of our partner-custodian/trustee arrangements.
  2. Free storage may be offered for a specified period; beyond that, storage or maintenance charges may apply (deducted or otherwise).
  3. If you request physical delivery, additional charges (making, delivery, insurance, logistics) may apply and you must provide valid address and identification.
  4. If you fail to provide a valid address or take delivery within the stipulated time, we reserve the right to sell the stored asset at the prevailing price and credit you (after deduction of applicable charges) or otherwise deal with the asset as per our policy.
  5. You acknowledge that while the custodian/ vault operator may have insurance coverage, certain risks such as war, nuclear damage, war-like events, civil unrest may fall outside insured events and correspondingly you assume that residual risk.

7. Your Obligations

You agree to:

  1. Use the Platform and Services only for your personal, lawful, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms.
  2. Provide true, accurate, current and complete information as required by the Platform and promptly update it whenever changes occur.
  3. Not impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or engage in fraudulent or illegal activity.
  4. Not attempt to modify, reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, trade or exploit any part of the Platform, its content, or Services for unauthorized commercial purposes.
  5. Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, rules and policies in your use of the Platform and Services.
  6. Maintain security of your password/login credentials, and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your Account.

8. Changes to Terms & Services

  1. We reserve the right to modify, supplement or replace these Terms (or any part thereof) at our sole discretion at any time. The revised Terms will be posted on the Platform and will be deemed effective from the date of posting.
  2. It is your responsibility to review the Terms periodically. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
  3. We also reserve the right to modify or discontinue (temporarily or permanently) any Service offered on the Platform at any time without prior notice and without liability to you.

9. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights (including trademarks, trade names, content, design, graphics, software, user interface) related to the Platform and Services are owned by Taj Money or its licensors/partners. You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free licence to access and use the Platform for the purposes of availing the Services, subject to these Terms. You shall not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, license or create derivative works based on the Platform or its content.

10. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

  1. The Services involve market-linked products, investment risks and other uncertainties. We do not guarantee any return, profit or performance of any service or product.
  2. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Taj Money, its directors, officers, employees, agents or affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses (including loss of profit, investment loss, data loss, business interruption) arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform or Services.
  3. We disclaim liability for delays, errors or failures caused by third-party systems (payment gateways, banks, network issues, software bugs), force majeure events (natural disasters, war, terrorism, government/regulatory action, pandemic) or other circumstances beyond our control.
  4. If you suffer any loss, damage or liability due to your fault or breach of these Terms, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless.

11. Suspension & Termination

  1. We may suspend, disable or terminate your Account or access to the Platform (in whole or in part) if:
  2. you breach these Terms or any applicable policy,
  3. we reasonably believe you are using the Platform fraudulently or illegally,
  4. there is a security risk or regulatory requirement, or
  5. we decide (at our sole discretion) to discontinue providing the Services.
  6. You may close your Account by giving us notice in the manner prescribed on the Platform. On termination or closure, we may require you to redeem your holdings (if any) or follow required exit procedures.
  7. Termination of your Account does not affect any rights or obligations that have accrued before termination.

12. Privacy & Data Protection

Your use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, store, process and disclose your personal information. You agree that we may process your personal data for the purposes of providing the Services, compliance with legal/ regulatory obligations, marketing (if you opt-in), and aggregation/analytics. We will take commercially reasonable steps to protect your data, but we do not guarantee absolute security.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India and the courts at [ city, Telangana ] shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
  2. In the event of any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Platform, you agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute by contacting us at [support email/phone]. If the matter cannot be resolved amicably within a reasonable time, the dispute may be referred to arbitration or litigation as per Indian law.

14. Miscellaneous

  1. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
  2. These Terms (together with any Additional/Specific Terms, Privacy Policy and other notices posted on the Platform) constitute the entire agreement between you and Taj Money with respect to the Services and supersede all prior understandings, communications or agreements.
  3. We may assign or transfer our rights or obligations under these Terms to any affiliate or third party; you may not assign your rights or obligations without our prior written consent.
  4. All notices to you shall be by email, push-notification or posting on the Platform. It is your responsibility to keep your contact information up-to-date.
